Enjoy playing music!
Whether your child is just beginning or advancing, in my violin class, a positive atmosphere, mutual respect for each other and for the instrument, and the pleasure of making beautiful music are important to me. Anyone can learn to play the violin; my door is open to everyone no matter the age or level.
Reviews:
Anne Martha - Helena is kind and patient. My daughter (8) is insecure and afraid of new teachers. But Helena has used the Suzuki method to guide my daughter, as it were, to feel and play songs. She is encouraging when things get difficult. She is creative in letting her repeat difficult pieces in a playful way so that they become second nature, without it feeling like a chore or like failure.
Mariolein - After taking many violin lessons in my youth, I lost touch with my violin during my student days. I wanted to pick it up again with a few lessons, and Helena helped me do just that. She took the time to assess my level and figure out how she could best guide me to rediscover the joy of playing and continue to develop my skills. She took the initiative in choosing pieces that suited me, and there was also room for me to contribute my own ideas. The lessons were enjoyable and educational!
